Learning skills & E-learning
There is another section in the Ontario Report Card that would need to be evaluated and assessed in an e-learning environment. The Learning Skills Section can also align to the curriculum in an e-learning environment, and below are some key points.
- A lot of the learning skills on the Ontario Report Card could align with an E-Learning environment. Organization, Initiative, Self-Regulation and Independent work are all critical in e-learning success.
- With an e-learning environment, the hardest Learning Skill to assess for the Ontario Report Card would be Collaboration, and specific goals would need to be set forth in order to accurately and effectively assess collaboration.
